Detecting smoke and flames is something vision models excel at, with vision models interpret the real-time camera streams with high precision, while vision‑language models (VLMs) add contextual reasoning to assess the severity of incidents, and provide summaries that guide operators toward the right response. Working together with the hardware, these models turn raw footage into clear warnings and timely insights. This combination forms a multi‑layered safety net that finally closes the blind spots left by traditional monitoring.
